We have an incredible, qualified team with years of clinical expertise. Our team really does care and will go the extra mile to help you smile. Whether we’re scheduling your appointment, taking X-rays, or removing tartar from teeth, you’ll have one of our team members right there with you to guide you through the process.
Christina Morris, Dental Hygienist
Christina received her Associates of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene through Germanna Community College in 2006. She strives to be an important part of improving our patients’ oral health through excellent care, education, and stressing the connection between dental wellbeing and overall wellbeing.
Her goal is for each patient to leave the chair feeling like they had the best treatment possible! She is also a member of the American Dental Hygienists Association and has served as the Legislative Chair in the Monticello Dental Hygienists Association. Outside of working hours, she stays very busy with her two beautiful children, spends quality time outdoors, and plays softball and volleyball.
Catherine Strickler, Dental Hygienist
Catherine hails from Vineland, NJ, and her career as a dental hygiene spans over 26 years so far. She studied at Virginia Western Community College and has advanced training in CPR and handling patients with dementia. She loves taking good care of each person in her treatment chair and getting to know them on a personal level!
Catherine and her husband have two daughters and one son. When she has free time, her favorite hobbies include cooking, reading, walking, biking, gardening, and (of course) hanging out with her family. She also has a passion for antiquing and combing the beach for shells/shark’s teeth. Making sandcastles is always a top priority too!
Teresa Meriwether, Clinical Director
Born in Bountiful, Utah, Teresa started her career in the dental field by studying Business Management at Salt Lake Community College. She later worked for many years in several positions, such as an Expanded Duty Clinical Assistant, practice administrator, certified digital imaging instructor, dental practice software instructor, and owner of Practice 2 Aspire. With three decades of experience and counting, she loves working with a dynamic team, an incredible doctor, and amazing patients here at our practice.
At home, Teresa enjoys spending time with her loving husband. Together, they have 5 children and 10 wonderful grandchildren whom they absolutely adores. She also has a St. Bernard that brings a smile to everyone’s face. When she isn’t traveling or hanging out with her family, she likes to cook up different culinary creations as well as read a good book. One interesting thing about her: she’s made each of her grandchildren a cross-stitched and framed piece of art!
Dawn Davis, Administrative Leader
Dawn has been a part of the dental world for an amazing 35+ years, and she says it’s the fantastic people she works with that keep her passionate about her job, referring to both our patients as well as her fellow team members! A Charlottesville native, she and her husband, Kevin, have a wonderful daughter and son-in-law as well as six beautiful grandchildren. When she isn’t spending time with family, she likes to go out on the lake in their boat and travel.
Diana Gray, Clinical Assistant
Diana joined our team and the world of dentistry nearly two decades ago. She worked in the front office for a long time, which is perfect for her since she loves helping our patients have the phenomenal experience they deserve. She retired in 2020, but she still comes in every Tuesday to help. We are honored to have such a passionate, dedicated, and experienced person on our team!
Diana is proud to call Charlottesville home, and she has a husband, Gary, as well as an adult son, Joshua. She also has a passion for horses and a love of hummingbirds. She even named her place Hummingbird Haven!
Kason Davis, Clinical Assistant (College Intern)
Kason earned his certification in Dental Radiology at NOVA Community College, and he is currently attending Old Dominion University. He joined our team a little over a year ago now and, so far, his favorite part of his job is being surrounded by lovely people who are personally connected to the patients that walk through our doors.
Kason grew up in Charlottesville with his five sisters and two brothers. When he isn’t at our office, you’ll find him working on his degree or playing video games.
Sophia Cochran, Hygiene Assistant/Front Desk
Sophia has a background in general dentistry and periodontics, and she has experience in both the front and back of the dental office. Plus, she attended Piedmont Virginia Community College, so she is quite a versatile member of our team! For her, the best thing about her role is knowing that she helps the office run smoothly alongside her incredible coworkers.
Outside of dentistry, Sophia has a passion for gardening and horticulture. In fact, she had about 200 plants at one point!
